Kids' Backporch Productions is a theatre workshop for kids to learn their craft while working on full-scale productions.
Professional performances conclude the end of every eight-week session (during the summer, KBP has a 3 week camp).

Fall Show
Kids’ Backporch Productions is proud to present their Fall production of The Phantom Toolbooth, Jr, a musical based on the novel by Norton Juster.
The exceptional tale of Milo, Tock and a certain magic tollbooth is brought splendidly to life on stage. Nothing interests Milo at all...until he takes a trip through the Phantom Tollbooth. Transported to the Land of Wisdom, Milo is thrust into adventure when Princesses Rhyme and Reason need rescuing in order to bring peace between two kings. Come travel with Milo in a world full of hidden discoveries.
We are seeking additional actors ages 7-18. Actors welcome to attend first rehearsal on Sept 3 at 6pm.
Vocal Audition: Please prepare approximately 16 measures of music to sing.
Reading Audition: Auditioners will read passages, to be provided on the day of the audition.

Bring completed forms to auditions, paper clipped to headshot and resume. We ask that all auditionees provide a completed Audition Package at the time of check in. Please come to your audition prepared with these materials or prepare to complete them when you arrive early.
If you are not able to bring a completed Audition Form with you, one will be provided. Please be sure to bring your schedule conflicts, so that you may accurately fill out the any conflicts on the audition form. Also, if you are not able to bring a headshot to auditions, one will be taken for you.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your audition time slot.

2018-2019 Season Fall show AESOP'S FUNNY FABLES and WINNIE THE POOH Aesop's Funny Fables features some of Aesop's famous fables, including "The Fox and The Grapes," "The Fox and the Crow" "The Lion and the Mouse," "The Wind and the Sun," "The Ant and the Grasshopper." As Bastian is drawn in deeper and deeper, Bastian discovers that his imagination is the key to changing the fate of both Fantastica, the land of stories, and his own world.
